Please book an appointment with the nurse for childhood immunisations if you
are unable to attend baby clinics.
Please do not bring prams or buggies into the clinics. They should be left in the pram park.
Contraceptive Services
We have a nurse who can offer advice and emergency contraception.
All the doctors provide a full service including emergency contraception.
Antenatal And Maternity
All the doctors provide full antenatal and postnatal care - we share care with local hospitals. The GPs are unable to provide care during the delivery itself. See the GP when you are first pregnant then visits can
alternate with the midwives.
Postnatal and six-week baby checks are done with your GP by appointment only.
Minor Surgery
This is carried out by referral to other local surgeries.
Travel Vaccinations
The nurses provide a full service. Fees are payable for some vaccines and
for private prescriptions. A list is displayed in the reception area. Please
ask at reception for prices, and book at least six weeks in advance if possible.
Bring in any records of vaccines you have had. You will need to bring either
cash or cheque with a guarantee card to your appointment. This is to pay for
the vaccination before it is given. If no payment is made no vaccine will be
given. We do not accept payment by credit/debit card.
Blood Tests
When having blood tests for cholesterol, fasting lipid or glucose, do not eat or drink at least six hours before these tests are done. You can drink water if you feel thirsty. If you are having a GTT (glucose tolerance
test) the above applies, but please bring a large bottle of plain Lucozade with you.
Health Promotion And Disease Prevention
We believe stopping smoking, avoiding recreational drugs and excessive alcohol, taking regular exercise and eating a varied diet will keep you healthy. Children should be protected by childhood vaccinations and adults
should have tetanus and polio boosters. A flu vaccine is available in the autumn for protection of high risk patients. Our nurses are happy to give advice.
Other Health Care Services
Primary Care Services not available at our surgery are provided by Kensington & Chelsea PCT. Telephone: 020 8962 4055.
