The telephones are answered during these times. For access during the Friday lunchtime closure please use the door entry system. For emergencies when the surgery is closed, telephone (020) 7229 5800. The answerphone will give the emergency number.

Emergencies

There is always a doctor on call for emergencies. Out of hours please telephone the surgery and the ansaphone will give the emergency number. We are part of a co-operative of local GPs for out-of-hours emergencies. We do not use commercial deputising services.

We have no accident facilities. The nearest Casualty Department is St Mary's Hospital, Praed Street W2 (020 7886 6666) which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is also a walk-in urgent care centre at the St Charles' Centre for Health and Wellbeing, Exmoor Street W10 6DZ (020 8962 4262)(www.clch.nhs.uk) open 8.00am - 9.00pm seven days a week.

NHS Direct provides health advice by telephone 0845 4647 and via the website www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

If you are disabled and need to see a doctor or nurse please let the receptionist know when making the appointment.

Other special needs:
We can arrange interpretation and translation services in person or by phone for patients who do not speak English.

If you have impaired hearing and would prefer to communicate using sign language please let us know when booking the appointment.
